Clans and GroupsClans and Groups with a purpose are welcome here. They must add to the gameplaying experience of our players!Clans and GroupsClans and Groups must initially have a minimum of 4 members, a will to grow, and a purpose. They must contribute to the friendly, participative atmosphere we encourage here by interacting with all players, without harassing or overwhelming them. Clans must have a responsible and authoritative Leader, and must appoint an Ambassador who will be responsible for handling Public Relationships and disputes in a calm and positive manner. Clan ApplicationsThe Clan Application must be posted in the Forum, stating:
Authorisation ProcessThe clan name and prefix tag will normally be approved fairly quickly for initial use as long as it is not offensive, but the Guild reserves the right to insist on a modified name or tag if appropriate. After this initial approval, the clan application will be posted for a probation period of a maximum of two weeks, during which the clan members may start clan characters using the clan prefix tag and go about their clan business and activities. Players will be able to comment on clan member behaviour, and a player poll will be held at the end of this probation period for the final authorisation of the clan by the Guild. Once authorised, the clan will be given forum space for their use and will become a permanent server clan.
Clan ActivitiesClan members can toll non-aligned players for right of passage or to land at the clan home station, and may challenge players who do not wish to pay to pvp combat. This pvp combat must be in accordance with our Server Rules, and our Rules of Engagement
If the player is defeated by the clan champion, then the player must be given time to leave the system without further attack or toll or harassment, unless the player attacks a clan member or initiates another challenge.
If the player defeats the clan champion, the player must be given right of free passage and to land and trade at the clan station for an agreed time.
Clan MembersClan members must maintain our Server Rules at all times, and must not cause any player to lose the element of fun that we strive for. Clan members are required to have non-clan characters to promote roleplay and interaction with other players outside the clan. Up to five characters can be created per PC account. We have no objection to players creating more than one account with up to five characters in each. Complaints Against the ClanAny player complaints against the clan or any of its members will be posted by the plaintiff on the clan's forum and must be addressed and resolved by the clan's Ambassador to the plaintiff's satisfaction within a reasonable time. Any player not satisfied by the Ambassador's proposals has the right to raise his complaint to the Guild, whose officers will attempt to resolve the matter as quickly as possible and in the manner of King Solomon the Wise!
