Guild Characters
Members' Characters
Guild
Members operate and role-play up to three characters each, one in each of the
following classes described below. They are always Guild-Law abiding (but
not necessarily Law Abiding!), courteous, honourable and sporting - but
all in all, remember who they are, and do not
take any Guild member lightly!

Traders |
These individuals specialize in
trading and intelligence / information gathering. They have the greatest
knowledge of the Sirius Systems and of its inhabitants, trading routes, valuable
commodities and technology.
Looking for a particular
weapon? Ask an RRJDS Trader, they can tell you where to find it, how much it will cost, and
if you are unable to get it yourself they can usually get it for you for an extra
fee.
Looking for a particular
wreck, a base or planet, an area for mining, or
want help to fix your reputation with out paying a
bribe? Again these are the people to see.
And if they
like the way you go about things when you are having a difficult time
trading, they may even give you one or two tips at a low price to help you
out.

Keepers |
These are Stores /
Banks that specialize in selling information and equipment, and in providing banking
services.
Working closely with the
Guild Traders and Enforcers, Keepers own stationary shops near planets and stations
and sell their goods to all-comers.
Keepers do usually charge
higher prices, but then - you can purchase almost any item from them without
having to expose yourself to the hazards of getting it yourself, where the
route, environment or local factions are
hostile to you.
Keepers also
arrange bank loans
at reasonable interest rates, or with other special arrangements for repayment based on the needs and
capability of each
individual borrower.
If you really
need that bit of extra cash to get over the hump of your first million -
talk to a Keeper, but - make sure you comply with the agreed
repayment terms!

Enforcers |
These
are
the Guild's Law Enforcers. They are highly trained, often seemingly
cold-hearted and always very well equipped. They take
care of elusive debtors and unfinished Guild business. They enforce Guild
Law and execute sentences passed by the Guild Inner Council.
They operate on that very thin knife- edge between the Lawful and
the Lawless, and have " special privileges" when it comes to
enforcement. Do not think you can run, hide or escape, even in New
York. Nowhere is safe for a fugitive from the Guild.
When
"unemployed", Enforcers have been known to pass their time
by buccaneering. This "hobby" is often mistaken
for common piracy, but is actually very different. Unlike the common
pirates, who attack computer-generated ("AI" / "NPC")
characters or weaker players and often in packs, Buccaneers are more Robin
Hood types who specialize in assisted passage, wealth-adjustment,
and business recovery operations for paying clients.
Sometimes you may become the paying client!
And sometimes, they are the client - which comes to
the same thing!
But they are
largely honourable, courteous and sporting. They follow the Rules of
Engagement and never take more than the
other player can easily afford, or harass any player to the point of loss of fun.
Victims are often surprised and sometimes pleased at how gently
they have been buccaneered!
But beware, do
not mess with an Enforcer!
