After the Second
Exodus, which took place at the end of the First Colonial Wars, there was much lawlessness
and chaos in the Sirius Quadrant, and very quickly, heavily-armed colonies and
tribal factions developed, initially for the protection of
their peoples.
But
many became dire enemies, killing and pirating each other
for power, territorial control and greed, and not for their own defence.
Despite the Colonial Wars, humanity's thirst for power and blood had not
diminished.
But
in time, small Merchant
Guilds developed, which earned neutrality and safe passage by trading
technology, valuable commodities and their knowledge.
The RRJDS is just such a
Guild. Over the decades this Guild has established an enviable reputation
of honour and fair-dealing that have earned it respect throughout
the far reaches of Sirius, even to the Border and Edge Worlds, allowing its
Members the
ability to go where they please, and to land and trade anywhere in the Sirius Systems.
