I have set up a channel to test the viability, and interest, for the use of teamspeak in the game. I think this would add to the role playing aspect of the game. I would hope that those of us who choose to use this tool will do so in a respectful manner....ie...let's keep the conversations G rated!!

You will need a mic to use this feature. And of course you need to download the TS client files located at the following address:

Once you have the ts client all you have to do is connect to the RRJDS server. the server ip is

70.233.141.120:8767

like i said, this is a test run, if people don't like it or dont use it, i will discontinue, however, it certainly is a lot easier than typing all our communications. I think it will facilitate the role playing aspect of the game, along with adding some realism too.

the easiest way to connect is to set your filters to search for servers with rrjds in the name.

Well Avenger, I have the server up and running, however it hasn't seen too much traffic? I had someone nicknamed warrior join for a few seconds then leave. I was hoping to set up the rrjds guild members as admins and moderators to the channel. I will set it up tonight then email you the particulars...ie names and passwords, then you can distribute them to the active guild members. I was going to set up several channels for teams and such, but then thought better not to? 1 channel for the entire sirius sector would be more realistic. Plus the way the channel is set now, allows peeps to create their own channel for private communications as it is. If there is an event planned, we can create an event channel, so that the participants of the event have a clear chanel...etc....anyway, i hope people enjoy this, the client program uses virtually no system resources and has no effect on how the game runs, as the teamspeak program runs in the background.

Just wanted to say..................me and player Whack were on the TS server last night while exploring the Vorlon controlled space. Sure was a lot nicer to be able to talk on TS rather than having to type all communications. I think this will work out nicely!!

As for me I have to keep low profile 'cos the missus is anti-FL as it is, so it would just not do to wake her at 03:00am with a "Yee-haaaawwww"! And she doesn't like me talking over her TV when she's awake either!
