Captain Ahab
Having been orphaned as a teenager, young John Henry hailed the first freighter available to fulfill his dream of traveling the universe and taking in all that was to be seen. He enjoyed the work and with a keen wit, he learned the trade well. He rose quickly through the ranks and soon became a competent navigator.
While taking some R&R on the luxury ship Hawaii, John met with a man who would change the course of his life. The man was a representative of the Bentusi, THE UNBOUND as they are known throughout the universe. They travel on great mother-ships throughout the universe and are the consummate traders. Needless to say, he took the position and traveled with the Great Bentusi for many years before returning to Sirius a wise and wealthy man.
He purchased a fine ship and again set out to find the most desirable goods to trade. However, he also found his home a different place than when he left. The trade lanes were overflowing with bandits and outlaws. To keep his crew and cargo safe, he commanded his ship with strict discipline. Thus he became known as CAPT. AHAB, a nickname he accepted with pride.
Concerned about the state of the Sirius Sector, he contacted one of his former captains and was told of the RRJDS GUILD. Upon further investigation, he found the support and camaraderie within the guild that he remembered as a young man starting out on his quest to explore the universe.
CAPT. AHAB is well known for his fair and honest demeanor and will go out of his way to help another in need. But for those who expect something for nothing, or find pleasure from another's grief, the captain will make it his personal business to seek them out for the harshest punishment.
