StarMart
Fat Paddy O’Shea, the jolly old drunkard from Dublin, could once drink any man under the table. And come what may, nothing was worth giving up a good fight for of a Saturday night. But as his advancing years slowly grew on him, a couple of years ago Paddy had realised that the nagging pains in his body that were growing stronger and would not go away were from old age, and it was time to quit playing the fight-loving drunk and live out his last few years in a more peaceful fashion. With a new wisdom, Paddy put his life savings into a good stock of equipment and opened his orbiting shop, the StarMart, and with the luck of the Dubliners on his side, old Paddy made a small fortune. If you see him and need anything, Paddy’s your man. If he hasn’t got it, he’ll get it one way or another – guaranteed. Just tell him what you want and leave it to him, as long as you’re prepared to pay for it up front. Paddy has learned the hard way to trust no-one. But he’s still game to buy you a drink if you see him at the Blue Dragon, although if it’s a fight ye want – spare a thought for the old feller and let him be. |
