In the hard world of trading in the outer rims, sometimes anonymity pays big time.  Slim margins can be made much larger by knowing who, where and how at the right time. At the same time if one faction knows a trader has affiliations with a hated enemy, a sensitive trade run could quickly turn into a dead end - in the true meaning of the word “dead”.

For this reason, StarTrader is personally known to few if any living beings in this universe. His nickname is the only label anyone knows of him (or her?).  History? Unknown. Origin?  Unknown.  Face?  Unknown.

But one thing IS known - those who have crossed him have ended up at their very own, private - and very personal - DEAD end.
